Delegation
Due diligence, risk review, the model everything depends on. Always attach a decision date, and name the cost of deciding late so the tradeoff exists in their language.
First 90 days
- Give an audit-shaped task first. It's their home ground
- Establish decision deadlines as physics, not preference
- Broker one working relationship with a high-warmth colleague
- Invite their critique of your own plan early, then visibly use it
