Yin Earth · The farmland
Ji is cultivated soil: earth that has been worked soft and made ready for other things to grow. Ji people nurture by instinct, organize quietly, and create the conditions for people and projects to flourish while rarely taking the stage themselves. Overworked soil absorbs too much: everyone's problems, everyone's mess, until self-erasure starts passing for generosity and the harvest belongs to someone else.
