Big Five vs Enneagram

One comes from psychometrics labs, the other from contemplative tradition, and they answer different questions. The Big Five describes where you sit on five trait dials, with decades of replication behind it. The Enneagram proposes why the dials got set that way, with far less research support but a much better track record of making people say that is exactly me.
